I really wish I could fill up in Washington. My new office is about 2 miles from the border! I’m missing that 0% ethanol 89 octane that I put in my truck.
Still, can’t complain about these prices, they are good for BC where the official motto is “fuck drivers”
To put into context, we once had $1.78 per liter!
This is the why gas is so expensive in this awful (but warm and pretty) province.

Back in the 90s gas dropped a LOT. At one point it got to $.69 per gallon. At the time I was driving a Chevy Sprint. It cost me $5.60 to fill it up.
It’s still hovering around $1.50/gal here. The other day we filled up the Elantra and used up all our fuel points and ended up with this:
Under $10 for a full tank. Not bad in a car that regularly reaches 40 mpg.
I filled up my truck for the first time in a month yesterday. It was sitting at just under half a tank. I haven’t driven it much and it’s been all city driving, which translates to 11 mpg.

Jeeeeeeeeesus. That’s cheap.
87.9 cents Canadian works out (by my math) to about 2.32USD a gallon, and that seems low because of how weak our dollar is right now . Thats mega cheap for here.
The highest price we've paid was 6.77cad a gallon or 4.85usd a gallon (again dollar value)

I ended up paying $1.79/gal for the truck because I didn’t particularly care enough to price hunt, and the main reason I went to that place was to use their car wash. I’ve only driven around 200 miles on it in the last month. I miss driving it.

I can’t remem ber when I filled up any of our cars, been quarantined since Feb 22nd. Oh, filled up the Kaboda with diesel a few times, $2.69/gallon. It’s my birthday and there’s nowhere to go, nothing to do. For what it’s worth Washington state gas is still too high, thanks to taxes (sound familiar ?)

Gas in Austin is now under $1.50. Looks like OPEC etc. are going to start cutting production , though.

I had a Rotor Corolla then. 10 bucks filled the tank from dang near empty and still got me a bottle of pop.

Holy crap and that is the cheap end? I just got 12 gallons for well under $20 and it seems we only have more of a median value.

.87 cents is essentially free as far as we're concerned

Step 1: Set up a shell company that sells N95 masks in Washington
Step 2: Go to your “essential” job and get gas on the way back
Step 3: ????
Step 4: Profit!

This has been the first time I’ve ever seen gas creep under $2.50/gallon here in California. It’s all the way down to $2.18 at the local Costco stations.
Fortunate for me, since I’m still commuting three days a week.

Someone spotted 54.9 in Toronto once when this crash first started.

U.S.$1.419 and more per gallon in Florida panhandle. I’m sure that it’s cheaper in Texas and Louisiana.
